Souad Mechkour

After teaching for 16 years, I decided to take my passion for helping others to the next level by becoming a counsellor. With a master's degree in school counselling, a research in person centered therapy trough neuroscience point of view and certification in Brain Story, I bring a unique perspective to my practice.

As a teacher, I have witnessed firsthand the struggles that teenagers, individuals, and families face on a daily basis. Whether it is academic pressure, relationship issues, or mental health challenges, these issues can be overwhelming and difficult to navigate. As a counsellor, my goal is to provide a safe and supportive space for my clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and to develop the skills they need to thrive.

Through my training in Brain Story, I am able to integrate the latest research in neuroscience into my counselling practice. This allows me to better understand the complex interplay between the brain, behavior, and emotions and to provide effective interventions that address the root causes of my clients' challenges.

Whether I am working with teenagers, individuals, or families, my approach is always client-centered and collaborative. I believe that every person is unique and deserving of respect, and I work to create a counseling environment that fosters trust, empathy, and understanding.

As a counsellor, I feel privileged to be able to help my clients achieve their full potential and to live happy, fulfilling lives. If you are seeking support and guidance on your journey towards emotional well-being, I would be honored to work with you.
